The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Jarron Cumberland, the team announced via Dan Woike on X. In a related move, forward Arthur Kaluma was waived and will not participate in training camp.
Cumberland, 28, brings experience from multiple G League and international stints, including the Delaware Blue Coats and Winnipeg Sea Bears.
He also appeared in three NBA games with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2021–22 season.
Last season with Delaware, Cumberland averaged 19.6 points, 5.2 assists, and 4.7 rebounds over 32 minutes per game while shooting 47.3% from the field and 46.1% from three-point range.
Cumberland’s journey includes international experience in Angola and Mexico, along with multiple G League campaigns.
Kaluma, who signed an Exhibit 10 contract after going undrafted in 2025, will now focus on opportunities outside the Lakers’ roster.
