The Golden State Warriors are finally making a move in the offseason as they aim to sign another sharpshooter, Seth Curry, who was expected in the coming weeks once Jonathan Kuminga’s contract drama is settled, via NBA insider Marc Stein.

Stein emphasized in his report that there is a strong expectation league-wide that Seth will eventually join the Warriors and take one of the six remaining roster spots.

“There is a strong expectation leaguewide now that the Warriors will also be signing Seth Curry in addition to the [Al] Horford/[De’Anthony] Melton/[Gary] Payton II trio. Golden State currently has six roster spots open. It’s believed they will be filled by Horford, Melton, Payton, Stephen Curry’s younger brother Seth, second-round pick Will Richard, and, of course, Kuminga,” Stein wrote in his The Stein Line newsletter.

The other five spots are expected to go to Al Horford, De’Anthony Melton, Gary Payton II, Will Richard, and Jonathan Kuminga if negotiations go smoothly in the upcoming days.

In the meantime, the Golden State has only 10 players on its roster who need an urgency to sign players immediately, as the season will start in less than a month.

The Seth Curry rumors started two months ago and now lead to a clearer picture that he will reunite with his brother Stephen Curry.

Last season, Seth had his career-best shooting run in Charlotte, shooting on 45.6% of his three-point attempts, higher than Steph’s 45.5% in 2011. He also had unfortunate minutes 15.6 off the bench that might differ with the Warriors if he fitted into Steve Kerr’s system.
