AS Monaco made a strong statement ahead of the new EuroLeague season by capturing the LNB Super Cup, defeating Le Mans 104–79 in the final just over a week before the continental campaign begins.

The victory capped off an impressive weekend for Monaco, which also cruised past Boulazac 95–70 in the semifinals under new head coach Vassilis Spanoulis.

Mike James once again proved decisive in the title game, posting 18 points and six rebounds. Elie Okobo complemented him with 16 points and seven assists, while Alpha Diallo delivered another all-around effort with 14 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.

Daniel Theis added 12 points in his first appearance for the team, with Nikola Mirotic contributing 11 and Kevarrius Hayes chipping in nine points along with six rebounds.

On the other side of the bracket, Paris endured a disappointing finish to the competition.

After falling to Le Mans in the semifinals, they were unable to regroup, losing 96–80 to Boulazac in the third-place game despite strong showings from Nadir Hifi and Justin Robinson, who each scored 19 points.

Elsewhere in regional action, Hapoel Jerusalem produced a dramatic comeback to claim the Israeli Super Cup, overcoming Maccabi Tel Aviv 84–79.

Kadyn Carrington paced Jerusalem with 21 points, and Jared Harper added 20. The key run came in the third quarter as Jerusalem turned the game around, while Maccabi’s Roman Sorkin led all scorers with 22 points.

Notably, Lonnie Walker was sidelined and did not feature for Maccabi.
