After leading Poland in the EuroBasket 2025, Jordan Loyd had a deal with Turkish powerhouse Anadolu Efes Istanbul, with Monaco receiving a buyout for releasing him, per NBA insider Marc Stein.

The 6-foot-4 combo guard was supposed to be linked with Real Madrid, but the Spanish club reportedly faced many challenges to sign him away from AS Monaco.

Despite falling short in the EuroBasket 2025 quarterfinals, Loyd scored fifth overall among all players in the recent tournament. He averaged 22.4 points, 3.3 boards, and two assists.

Anadolu Efes is about to revamp its roster by adding Loyd and recent former NBA arrivals such as Cole Swider and Kai Jones.

The American guard shone while carrying a Polish flag and attracted many offers around Europe. It can be the start of his legacy in the European competition if he stays consistent in how he played in the EuroBasket.
