The Oklahoma City Blue and the Austin Spurs, G League affiliates of the Thunder and Spurs, have completed a trade involving the returning player rights of Malachi Flynn and Adam Flagler, reported Rylan Stiles of Thunder on SI.

Under the deal, Flynn’s rights were sent to Oklahoma City, while Flagler’s went to Austin.

In addition, the Blue received a 2025 first-round pick and a 2026 second-round pick as part of the exchange.

While Flynn’s rights have shifted, this does not mean he’ll immediately suit up for Oklahoma City’s affiliate.

The guard has signed with a Turkish club for the upcoming season, but this move ensures that if he returns to the G League, his rights belong to the Blue.

Flagler, meanwhile, signed with the Spurs on an Exhibit 10 contract that gives him the chance to earn a bonus if he spends at least 60 days with Austin.

This trade guarantees he’ll land there during the season.
