The San Antonio Spurs are adding depth to their training camp roster with the signing of Stanley Umude on an Exhibit 10 contract, according to HoopsHype.

Umude, who spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks, will now have the opportunity to compete for a spot in Mitch Johnson’s rotation or with the Spurs’ G League affiliate in Austin.

The 26-year-old guard appeared in 22 games for Milwaukee during the 2024–25 campaign, averaging 0.7 points and 0.8 rebounds in 3.9 minutes per contest. He struggled to find a rhythm in limited action, shooting just 19.2 percent from the field and 20 percent from three-point range.

While his NBA production has been modest, Umude has consistently shown his scoring ability in the G League. With the Wisconsin Herd last season, he averaged 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists across 10 games while connecting on 37 percent of his shots from deep.

Before joining Milwaukee, Umude spent two years with the Detroit Pistons. His most notable stretch came during the 2023–24 season, when he played 24 games and averaged 5.3 points in 12.8 minutes while hitting 45.3 percent of his three-pointers.

Exhibit 10 deals are one-year, non-guaranteed contracts that can be converted into two-way contracts before the season begins. They also include bonuses if the player is waived and then joins the team’s G League affiliate.
