
Jaylen Brown is facing a personal family crisis after his father, former professional boxer Marselles Brown, was arrested on charges of attempted murder.
According to TMZ Sports, the incident occurred following an alleged altercation over a parking spot that escalated into violence, resulting in a youth football coach being stabbed.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that the stabbing took place on Wednesday at All American Park.
Authorities reported that the dispute began as a verbal confrontation between two men over a parking space, which allegedly ended with the suspect stabbing the victim in the stomach.
Following the incident, Marselles Brown reportedly fled the scene but was later located and taken into police custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday afternoon.
The injured coach was transported to a nearby hospital and underwent surgery. His current medical condition has not been publicly disclosed.
Marselles Brown, who made his professional boxing debut in 1989, compiled a record of 33 wins, 18 losses, and one draw during his career, including 25 knockouts. He has not competed in the ring for nearly ten years.
Jaylen Brown is widely regarded as one of the top players in the NBA and played a key role in helping the Boston Celtics capture the NBA championship in 2024.
Despite the severity of the situation involving his father, Jaylen has not yet made a public statement regarding the incident.
