Shaquille Harrison, a seven-year NBA veteran, will remain with ASVEL Basket for another season after agreeing to a one-year contract extension, the French club confirmed in a press release.
Recognized primarily for his defensive skill set, Harrison has logged 183 career regular-season appearances across stints with seven different NBA franchises.
His most recent NBA action came during the 2023/24 season, when he joined the Memphis Grizzlies on a 10-day contract.
The 31-year-old guard transitioned to ASVEL last year, where he played 63 games in all competitions.
In an average of 17 minutes per game, Harrison contributed 5.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.1 steals, providing steady perimeter defense and veteran leadership.
ASVEL competes at the highest level of French basketball in the LNB Élite, as well as in the EuroLeague, Europe’s premier club competition.
The team finished the LNB Élite regular season with a 23-7 record before falling in the playoff semifinals, while posting a 13-21 mark in EuroLeague play.
