It has been a lot for the Portland Trail Blazers this offseason.

As NHL Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon has officially agreed to buy the Portland Trail Blazers from Paul Allen’s estate, worth over $4 billion, they are to manage the revamped roster this upcoming season.

After the struggle of the franchise of not making the playoffs in four consecutive years, they now have a high chance to be at the stage again.

Blazers were reunited with their former franchise star, Damian Lillard, after two years with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The franchise has done great actions so far, as they also acquired key players like Jrue Holiday and Scoot Henderson, from a rebuilding roster into a team that can compete in the postseason.

The revamped roster is filled with defensive specialists like Holiday that can make the Blazers’ defense give the team a high floor.

Aside from the roster, the franchise’s new owner has yet to meet fans’ expectations, as its former holder has recently filled the needs and gaps of the entire team.

The Trail Blazers will be led by Dundon, who is currently the owner of the NHL franchise, the Carolina Hurricanes, which showed such experience in team management.

Aside from Portland, the Allen estate had also been trying to sell the Seattle Seahawks, which his will after the team owner passed away in 2018.

The franchise announced they were for sale three months ago.
