Police are looking for a man in a “Beavis and Butt-Head” T-shirt who allegedly threw a lime-green sex toy toward the court during Tuesday’s New York Liberty game at Barclays Center, nearly hitting a 12-year-old girl.

The suspect, described as tattooed with a red-and-black hat and black shorts, was caught on security footage, according to Crime Stoppers. Witnesses say the object was tossed from a higher section, startling the girl before staff removed it.

The incident is part of a crude trend of fans throwing explicit items at WNBA games. That same night, Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham was hit by a similar object in Los Angeles. Last week, Phoenix police arrested 18-year-old Kaden Lopez for a comparable stunt during a Mercury game.

A crypto group pushing a novelty token called “Green Dildo Coin” has claimed responsibility for encouraging the disruptions.
