The Golden State Warriors are exploring veteran backcourt options in free agency, with Malcolm Brogdon and Seth Curry emerging as potential additions.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, Golden State is showing interest in both guards as the franchise reshapes its roster.

“Malcolm Brogdon still remains a possibility for the Warriors as well. In addition to Seth Curry,” Fischer reported.

Brogdon, 32, became an unrestricted free agent this offseason after finishing the season with the Washington Wizards. He was acquired by Washington in a July 2024 trade that sent Deni Avdija to Portland.

The former Rookie of the Year averaged 12.7 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 24 games for the Wizards. He shot 43.3% from the field but posted a career-low 28.6% from three-point range.

Over his nine-year career, Brogdon has built a reputation as a steady combo guard with playoff experience, having played for the Bucks, Pacers, Celtics, Blazers, and Wizards.

Curry, 34, is also an unrestricted free agent after being waived by Charlotte in June and re-signed in mid-July. He played 68 games for the Hornets last season, averaging 6.5 points in 15.6 minutes while shooting 45.6% from three.

The sharpshooter has played for nine NBA teams, including two separate stints in Dallas and Brooklyn. He boasts a career 43.3% clip from beyond the arc and has been a reliable perimeter weapon in both regular season and playoff settings.
