Following a highly successful season with Bayern Munich, where he not only helped lead the team to a championship but also earned the prestigious title of 2025 Finals MVP in the German Bundesliga, Shabazz Napier is now entering free agency, according to Dario Skerletic of Sportando.

The 34-year-old point guard showcased his skills impressively throughout the EuroLeague season, averaging 10.3 points, 3.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while knocking down 41.1% of his three-point attempts. Napier’s shooting and playmaking have been key factors in his team’s success.

Originally selected as the 24th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, Napier spent six seasons in the NBA, posting career averages of 7.1 points and 2.5 assists per game.

During the 2022/23 season, he divided his time between the NBA G League and EuroLeague. He played 10 games with the Mexico City Capitanes in the G League, where he was outstanding, averaging 22.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 1.9 steals while shooting an impressive 47.1% from beyond the arc.

Midseason, he joined Olimpia Milano, contributing 15.0 points and 3.9 assists per game and maintaining an efficient 45.6% shooting from three-point range.

Since that season, Napier has had stints with both Olimpia Milano and Crvena Zvezda before making the move to Bayern Munich for the recent campaign, where he capped off his strong European career with a championship and individual accolades.
