NBC Sports has expanded its team of NBA game analysts for the 2025/26 season by adding several former players, including Derek Fisher, Austin Rivers, Brad Daugherty, Robbie Hummel, and Brian Scalabrine, as announced in a recent press release.

These new hires will join an already impressive group of analysts such as Jamal Crawford, Reggie Miller, and Grant Hill, who have previously signed deals with NBC.

In addition to the analysts, NBC confirmed that Michael Grady will be one of its play-by-play announcers for NBA coverage, joining established voices like Mike Tirico, Noah Eagle, and Terry Gannon.

Other former NBA stars like Carmelo Anthony and Vince Carter will contribute as studio analysts, with Maria Taylor and Ahmed Fareed taking on studio hosting duties. Michael Jordan has also been named a special contributor for the network.

Starting in the 2025/26 season, NBC will broadcast up to 100 regular-season NBA games annually, with up to five games per week during part of the season.

The network will also air playoff games in the first two rounds and alternate coverage of a conference final every other year with Amazon. Furthermore, NBC will become the new broadcaster for the NBA All-Star weekend.

This marks NBC’s return to NBA broadcasting for the first time since 2002. The network is reportedly paying about $2.5 billion per year over an 11-year contract to secure the NBA broadcasting rights.
