The Denver Nuggets have signed guard Curtis Jones to a two-way NBA contract following his strong showing in the 2025 NBA Summer League. The move was first reported by NBA insider Shams Charania on Saturday.
Jones, who went undrafted out of Iowa State, impressed the Nuggets’ front office with his consistent production in Las Vegas. Over five games, he averaged 15 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per contest while shooting an efficient 47% from beyond the arc.
The 23-year-old initially joined Denver on an Exhibit 10 contract on June 27 after the draft. His summer league performance, however, earned him a more secure spot on the roster heading into training camp.
During his senior season at Iowa State, Jones posted career highs in nearly every statistical category. He averaged 17.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 37.4% from three and 84.5% from the free-throw line over 34 appearances.
Under the two-way deal, Jones is expected to split time between the Nuggets and their G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold. Two-way contracts allow players to appear in up to 50 NBA games during the regular season while maintaining their eligibility to play in the G League.
