Santi Aldama, the restricted free agent, has agreed to a three-year contract with the Memphis Grizzlies valued at $52.5 million. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, this agreement includes a team option for the third year.
The contract structure is front-loaded, meaning Aldama will earn a salary of $18.49 million in the first year, which then decreases to $17 million in the second year.
The third year, which is the team option for the 2027/28 season, carries a salary of $17 million as well.
In another deal, Ty Jerome has secured a three-year contract with the Grizzlies worth $27.66 million, matching the full amount allowed under the team’s salary cap exception, as anticipated.
This agreement contains a player option for the third year, as had been previously reported. Additionally, Scotto notes that Jerome’s contract includes a 15% trade kicker – a clause that provides the player with extra compensation if traded.
Lastly, Cam Spencer has signed a four-year contract with Memphis totaling approximately $10.4 million.
The Grizzlies utilized available cap space to set Spencer’s salary at $2,537,989 for the first season, with the remaining three years paid at the league minimum salary, confirmed by Hoops Rumors.
The first three years of Spencer’s contract are fully guaranteed, while the final year contains a team option for the 2028/29 season, as mentioned in earlier reports.
