Jase Richardson is already turning heads in NBA Summer League action, making a strong early case that he was undervalued in the 2025 Draft.

The Orlando Magic rookie guard is showing off his versatile offensive game, averaging 16.5 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 rebounds through his first two appearances.

Despite once being projected as a potential lottery pick, Richardson ultimately fell to the No. 25 spot – something he seems eager to prove was a mistake.

In speaking with Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel, Richardson expressed confidence in his ability to be a dynamic threat with the ball in his hands.

“I can do a lot of things in that [position],” he said, referring to attacking downhill. “I can score for myself, I can get my teammates involved and a lot of different ways I can get a bucket for the team.”

Richardson’s aggressive mindset and ability to create plays both for himself and others have been on full display.
