The Milwaukee Bucks are bringing back forward Taurean Prince on a two-year, $7.1 million contract, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. The agreement includes a player option for the second season.

Prince, 31, returns to Milwaukee after playing a key role in the 2024-25 season. He made 73 starts in 80 regular-season games and averaged 8.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 27.1 minutes per contest.

Prince was on a one-year, $3 million contract this past season. He provided consistent perimeter shooting, connecting on 43.9% of his three-point attempts—his highest single-season mark.

Defensively, the 6-foot-6 forward often took on matchups against opposing wings and held his own across multiple positions. He also recorded 1.0 steal per game.

The Bucks finished the regular season fifth in the Eastern Conference at 48-34. They ranked sixth in the league in points per game and relied heavily on their wing depth throughout the year.

Prince saw reduced minutes in the postseason but still appeared in all five of Milwaukee’s playoff games, averaging 12.2 minutes. He struggled from the field, shooting just 20%, but remained part of the rotation.

Before joining the Bucks, Prince played for the Lakers, Timberwolves, Nets, Cavaliers, and Hawks. Over nine NBA seasons, he has averaged 9.9 points and 3.6 rebounds across 582 games.
