The Magic finished the 2024-25 season with a 41-41 record, securing a playoff berth for the second straight year. They won the Southeast Division for the second consecutive season but were eliminated in the first round by the Boston Celtics in five games.

The Magic have focused on developing young talent under coach Jamahl Mosley. They will now seek new pieces to improve after back-to-back playoff appearances but early exits.
