Charlotte Hornets star guard LaMelo Ball has successfully undergone arthroscopic surgeries on both his right wrist and right ankle, the team announced today.

According to Charlotte’s statement, the 6’7″ playmaker is expected to fully return to basketball activities within five to six weeks.

With the Hornets already eliminated from postseason contention, Ball will have ample time to recover before the offseason ramps up.

The 23-year-old was limited to just 47 games this season due to injuries but remained highly productive when on the court.

He averaged 25.2 points, 7.4 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game, continuing to showcase his elite scoring and playmaking abilities.

The Hornets will hope a healthy Ball can lead the franchise to a more competitive season in 2025 as they look to build around their young core.
