After the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Miami Heat’s G League affiliate, narrowly missed out on qualifying for the NBA G League playoffs, Heat two-way players Josh Christopher and Isaiah Stevens, along with roster player Keshad Johnson, are rejoining the NBA team.

They are expected to step into roles if necessary, given the Heat’s current injury struggles.

According to Barry Jackson, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra confirmed the players’ readiness, saying, “They’re ready. They just have to be plug-and-play if they do get an opportunity. The way things have gone with guys out, those minutes could be available. They’re ready physically, mentally, emotionally. Everybody is disappointed they didn’t make the playoffs but they made a heck of a run.”

Despite falling short of the playoffs, the trio is prepared to contribute to Miami’s efforts as needed.
