Sacramento Kings forward Jake LaRavia has been diagnosed with a bone contusion in his left thumb after undergoing imaging following an injury in Tuesday’s loss to Oklahoma City.

LaRavia suffered the injury during a hard fall in the fourth quarter. The team announced he will be sidelined for the time being and reevaluated in 7-10 days, though this doesn’t guarantee a return at that time.

Since being traded from Memphis to Sacramento at the trade deadline, LaRavia has played a regular role off the bench, averaging 6.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 19.3 minutes per game.

With LaRavia out, forwards Trey Lyles, Isaac Jones, and Doug McDermott are expected to see increased minutes. He will miss at least the next three games, with the possibility of being sidelined longer.
