New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson has started engaging in limited on-court activities as part of his recovery.

The team stated that they would provide an update on Brunson’s condition in one week.

Brunson has been sidelined since March 6, when he sustained a sprained right ankle during a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Initially, it was anticipated that he would miss three to four weeks due to the injury.

The Knicks’ All-Star guard has been averaging 26.3 points, 7.4 assists, and a steal per game this season.

Before the injury, Brunson had appeared in 61 of the Knicks’ first 62 games.
