Obi Toppin delivered a season-high 34 points, including the game-winning three-pointer, as the Indiana Pacers secured a 132-130 overtime victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night.

Toppin knocked down seven of his ten attempts from beyond the arc, with his final triple coming with 3.5 seconds left to snap Minnesota’s eight-game winning streak.

The Pacers (38-29) overcame the absence of multiple key players, including Pascal Siakam, Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner, and Aaron Nesmith, all of whom were sidelined.

Indiana’s depleted lineup also lost Andrew Nembhard to an ejection in the third quarter and Bennedict Mathurin to fouls in the fourth, but they still managed to outlast the Timberwolves (40-30).

Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 38 points, but he struggled from deep, shooting just 1-for-11 from three-point range.

The Timberwolves led by five with under a minute left in overtime before Thomas Bryant cut the deficit with a crucial three-pointer.

After an Edwards miss, Toppin drilled his clutch shot, and Julius Randle’s last-second fadeaway attempt missed, sealing the victory for Indiana.

T.J. McConnell contributed 11 points and 13 assists, including a game-tying layup with 4.6 seconds left in regulation.

Indiana sits just one game behind the Milwaukee Bucks for fourth place in the Eastern Conference as they prepare for a five-game homestand.

For Minnesota, the loss adds pressure in an increasingly competitive Western Conference playoff race.
