The Houston Rockets have signed former first-round pick David Roddy to a two-way contract, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
Roddy, 23, has played in 30 games this season, averaging 4.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.
He split time between the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers before landing in Houston, appearing in 27 games for Atlanta and three for Philadelphia.
Roddy has played in 165 career games across three NBA seasons, averaging 6.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest.
The 6-foot-5 forward provides the Rockets with additional depth as they continue their playoff push in a competitive Western Conference.
Houston (37-24) currently sits fifth in the West, looking to secure a strong position heading into the postseason.
Roddy’s best statistical season came in 2022-23 when he averaged 6.7 points and 2.8 rebounds while playing for the Memphis Grizzlies.
