The Denver Nuggets are set to bring former Serbian guard Nenad Miljenovic into the organization, according to Meridian Sport (hat tip to Eurohoops).

While the specifics of Miljenovic’s role remain unclear, Eurohoops describes it as a front-office position. His addition to the team comes with a notable connection to Denver’s superstar center, Nikola Jokic.

Miljenovic and Jokic were teammates for two seasons from 2013 to 2015 while playing for Mega Basket in Serbia, a club known for developing young talent.

His hiring suggests the Nuggets may be looking to strengthen ties within their international scouting and player development efforts.
