Lonnie Walker IV has signed a two-year, $3 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. Initially, Walker was expected to finish the current season with Zalgiris, with his NBA-out clause set to expire soon.

Earlier in the season, Walker was part of the Boston Celtics during the preseason but did not make the final roster, becoming one of their final cuts.

Last year, Walker played for the Brooklyn Nets, where he contributed an average of 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, in just over 17 minutes of play across 58 games.

This season, in 33 games with Zalgiris, Walker has shown notable improvement, averaging 13.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 20.6 minutes per game, displaying his scoring ability and all-around contributions.
