The Chicago Bulls made additions at the trade deadline, acquiring Zach Collins, Kevin Huerter, and Tre Jones.

However, according to head coach Billy Donovan, the front office has not imposed any obligation for these new players to immediately join the rotation or receive significant playing time.

The decision will be based on team needs and performance, rather than a directive to integrate them into the lineup.

“(The front office hasn’t) come out and said that to me like that, but I do think that there would be organizationally, no question, you want to find out about those guys, they’re here,” Donovan said, per Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun Times.

“Can they help our team, can they impact our team, and who are they as players? Right. There hasn’t been, ‘Hey, let’s play these guys right now.’“
