Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has been named Player of the Week for the Western Conference, and Hawks guard Trae Young won the Eastern Conference honor, the NBA announced Monday.

Jokic led Denver to a 4-0 record last week, posting a triple-double average (29.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, 10.3 assists) with impressive efficiency (.657/.409/.818 shooting line, 1.8 turnovers). The Nuggets outscored opponents by 19.0 points per 100 possessions with Jokic on the court.

Jokic has now won the award three times this season, more than any other player in the West. Young, who was also named an All-Star, helped Atlanta go 3-1 last week, averaging 31.3 points, 10.5 assists, and 1.8 rebounds with solid shooting (.482/.341/.853). He leads the league with 11.4 assists per game.

Jokic edged out Booker, Edwards, Gilgeous-Alexander, James, Simons, and teammate Porter Jr. in the West, while Brunson, Cunningham, Garland, Tatum, and Wagner were nominated in the East.
