Stephen Curry scored a season-high 38 points to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Milwaukee Bucks 125-111 on Monday night. The Warriors (27-26) used a strong fourth quarter to secure the win, outscoring Milwaukee 36-28 in the final period.

Jimmy Butler contributed 20 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in his second game with Golden State. Buddy Hield added 16 points, while Quinten Post and Moses Moody chipped in 13 each. The Warriors recorded a season-high 16 steals and finished with 17 more field-goal attempts than the Bucks.

Milwaukee (28-24) was playing the second night of a back-to-back after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. The team was once again without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been sidelined for six consecutive games with a left calf strain.

Damian Lillard scored 38 points for the Bucks after dropping 43 against the 76ers. Kyle Kuzma contributed 21 points, while Taurean Prince finished with 19. However, Milwaukee struggled with turnovers, committing 20 as a team.

Golden State led 58-51 at halftime, with Curry already scoring 18 points. The Bucks cut the deficit to two entering the fourth quarter, but the Warriors pulled away with a decisive run. Golden State shot 44.1% from the field and made 30 of 38 free throws.

Butler continued his smooth transition with the Warriors after scoring 25 points in Saturday’s win over the Chicago Bulls. He went 12-for-15 from the free-throw line and made timely plays on both ends of the floor.

Milwaukee has struggled defensively in recent games, allowing at least 123 points in six of its last eight contests. Despite shooting 50% from the field, the Bucks could not overcome their turnover issues and Golden State’s relentless defense.
