The Atlanta Hawks secured a 112-106 victory over the Orlando Magic on Monday night, with Trae Young scoring 11 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter.

Young struggled for most of the game, shooting 6-for-17 from the field and committing nine turnovers, but he stepped up late to help Atlanta pull away. He also added eight assists and five rebounds on the same day he was named an All-Star injury replacement for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Caris LeVert contributed 18 points and eight rebounds off the bench, while Terance Mann went a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, including three 3-pointers, to finish with 12 points. The Hawks’ reserves outscored Orlando’s bench 54-25, proving to be a decisive factor.

Franz Wagner led all scorers with 35 points for the Magic, while Paolo Banchero had 31 points, including a career-high 20 in the third quarter. However, Orlando struggled in the final period, getting outscored 29-24.

Young played a pivotal role down the stretch, scoring seven consecutive points after the game was tied at 99. His clutch performance helped Atlanta win for the fourth time in five games after enduring an eight-game losing streak.

The Magic, who were without Jalen Suggs for the 18th time in their last 19 games, have now lost 13 of their last 17. Despite strong individual performances from Wagner and Banchero, Orlando’s lack of bench production and late-game execution cost them.

Atlanta shot 49.4% from the field and 85.7% from the free-throw line, capitalizing on their efficiency at key moments. Orlando, meanwhile, finished at 47.4% shooting but struggled with turnovers, committing 17 compared to Atlanta’s 16.

With the win, the Hawks improved to 26-28, while the Magic dropped to 26-29 as both teams continue to fight for positioning in the Eastern Conference standings.
