Zach LaVine has brought a positive and determined mindset into the season, which has been evident in both his on-court performance and his leadership, as detailed by Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times.

In January, LaVine has been averaging an impressive 28.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game, showcasing his scoring prowess and all-around game.

Beyond the stat sheet, his impact has extended to his teammates, earning praise from head coach Billy Donovan.

“He’s been great in the locker room, he’s been great off the court, he’s been great with our guys,” Donovan said. The coach also highlighted LaVine’s proactive approach to supporting his teammates.

“I can’t tell you there’s been numerous times this year where he’s come into my office and said to me, ‘Hey, I feel like this player is struggling a little bit. Is there anything I can talk to them about?’”

LaVine has played 11 seasons for the Bulls and Timberwolves. He has averaged 20.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 618 regular-season games. He was selected to play in 2 All-Star games.
