Devin Booker led the Phoenix Suns to a 114-106 victory over the Utah Jazz on Saturday, scoring 34 points in an efficient performance. The win improved Phoenix’s record to 18-19, as they never trailed in the game.

Booker set the tone early with 22 points in the first half, shooting 7-for-8 from the field and hitting four of five attempts from three-point range. He finished the game shooting 12-for-20 overall, including 6-for-12 from beyond the arc, and added four assists and two steals.

Kevin Durant contributed 25 points, seven assists, and five rebounds, providing consistent scoring to complement Booker’s hot start. Grayson Allen stepped up with 14 points off the bench, nine of which came in the fourth quarter to help seal the win.

The Suns built a 16-point lead but faced resistance from the Jazz, who trimmed the deficit multiple times. Lauri Markkanen paced Utah with 24 points, while Collin Sexton added 20. Walker Kessler had a strong showing with 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz, who fell to 9-28 on the season.

The Suns’ revamped rotation under head coach Mike Budenholzer has shown promise, with Bradley Beal continuing to come off the bench. Beal had 12 points in 31 minutes, his lowest total since transitioning to a reserve role. Ryan Dunn, who has replaced Jusuf Nurkic in the starting lineup, scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds.

Mason Plumlee also stepped into the starting lineup for the second consecutive game, replacing the suspended Nurkic. Plumlee contributed six points, 10 rebounds, and five offensive boards, setting the tone in the paint.

Utah played without several key players, including Jordan Clarkson, Keyonte George, and John Collins, but received solid contributions from reserves Svi Mykhailiuk and Cody Williams, who each scored 13 points. Despite the effort, the Jazz dropped their third straight game and struggled to capitalize on Phoenix’s 11 turnovers.

Phoenix shot 51.2% from the field and 35.1% from three-point range, outpacing Utah’s 43.8% shooting overall and dismal 21.4% accuracy from beyond the arc. The Suns’ bench provided critical contributions, particularly from Grayson Allen and Beal, as they outscored Utah’s reserves 39-32.

The Suns will look to continue their winning ways as they push to climb out of 12th place in the Western Conference.
