Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley spoke about where the team’s resilience/competitiveness comes from after Friday’s 106-97 road win vs. the Toronto Raptors.
(via Orlando Magic):
“It says a lot about Jeff Weltman and the type of young men that he brings in. The high character, competitive, tough guys. That’s one. Then two, our coaching staff does a tremendous job of keeping these guys prepared for whatever the moment is. No matter who we throw on the floor, we also talk about how we’re going to play. We’re going to defend a certain style. We’re going to move and share the basketball. Whether shots go in or not, you cannot control it, but then you’re going to continue to fight for your brothers in that locker room. And that’s what these guys continue to do no matter who’s out there, because we always understand that we are enough to go and give ourselves an opportunity in every single game.”
