Tyrese Haliburton delivered a stellar performance on Thursday night, leading the Indiana Pacers to a 128-115 victory over the Miami Heat. The All-Star guard finished with 33 points and 15 assists, spearheading Indiana’s offense.
Myles Turner added 21 points, while Pascal Siakam contributed a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. The Pacers shot 53% from the field and connected on 17 three-pointers
Indiana built a lead as large as 28 points, dominating the Heat on both ends of the court. They held a decisive edge in ball movement, recording a season-high 35 assists.
Miami struggled to find consistent scoring, with Kel’el Ware leading the Heat with 25 points off the bench. Bam Adebayo added 20 points, while Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier chipped in 17 and 16, respectively.
Jimmy Butler had a quiet night with just nine points in 26 minutes. For the second consecutive game, Butler sat out the fourth quarter as Miami fell behind early in the second half.
The victory improved Indiana’s record to 17-18 as they aim to climb further in the Eastern Conference standings. Miami, now 17-15, will look to regroup after the loss disrupted their momentum.
Indiana’s offensive balance was on full display, with seven players scoring in double figures. Bench contributions, including Obi Toppin’s 12 points, helped solidify the win.
For Miami, defensive lapses and turnovers proved costly. The Heat committed 14 turnovers, which the Pacers converted into easy points. Their bench showed promise, with Ware providing much-needed energy, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Indiana’s offensive onslaught.
