Norman Powell’s clutch performance secured a 114-110 win for the Los Angeles Clippers (17-13) over the Memphis Grizzlies (20-10) on Monday night. Powell scored 29 points, including four pivotal points in the final 25 seconds, sealing the Clippers’ third win in four games.

With the game tied at 110, Powell drained a 14-foot jumper with 25 seconds remaining. He followed that up by calmly sinking two free throws to put the game out of Memphis’ reach.

James Harden added 21 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds, while Ivica Zubac delivered a dominant double-double with 20 points and a season-high 20 rebounds.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 24 points, while Ja Morant contributed 23 points and Desmond Bane finished with 21 points and seven assists. Despite their efforts, Memphis struggled with turnovers, committing 19 that led to 31 points for the Clippers.

The Clippers leaned on their depth, with Nicolas Batum, Derrick Jones Jr., and Kevin Porter Jr. contributing valuable minutes off the bench. Los Angeles also benefitted from Harden’s steady playmaking and Zubac’s interior dominance.

For the Grizzlies, the bench provided a spark with Santi Aldama and Scotty Pippen Jr. combining for 24 points, but their inability to close out defensive possessions and protect the ball proved costly. Memphis shot just 38.4% from the field, compared to 43.8% by Los Angeles.
