San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama has added another historic milestone to his young NBA career. The 20-year-old became the fastest player to reach 200 career three-pointers, surpassing legends Stephen Curry, James Harden, and Ray Allen, who rank among the top three in all-time three-pointers made.

Wembanyama achieved the feat during the Spurs’ victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, where he recorded 30 points, including 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. His 201st career three-pointer came in his sophomore season, highlighting his exceptional versatility as a center.

Jordan Howenstine, the Spurs’ team statistician, highlighted the achievement on social media, underscoring how the French star’s rapid ascent in three-point shooting sets him apart from established perimeter sharpshooters.

Wembanyama’s current season averages include 24.7 points, 10 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 3.8 blocks in 32.4 minutes per game. Additionally, he is connecting on 34.9% of his three-point attempts, making 3.2 long-range shots per game—a remarkable output for a player of his position.

The accomplishment underscores Wembanyama’s unique skill set as a towering seven-foot-four player who can dominate both in the paint and on the perimeter. His shooting ability, combined with elite defensive instincts, makes him a generational talent who continues to redefine what is expected of NBA centers.
