Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard has signed a lifetime deal with Adidas. After his previous Adidas contract expired last offseason, Lillard’s agent, Aaron Goodwin, negotiated the new agreement.
Lillard, who played a key role alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo in the Bucks’ NBA Cup victory on Tuesday, is averaging 25.7 points, 7.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1 steal per game this season.
He joins LeBron James, Kevin Durant (Nike), and Stephen Curry (Under Armour) as the only active NBA players with lifetime shoe deals.
The 34-year-old, an eight-time All-Star and one of the NBA’s Top 75 players has earned over $600 million in combined career salaries and endorsements.
A loyal Adidas athlete since entering the league in 2012, Lillard has launched several initiatives in Portland, his first NBA home, and recently had the court at Adidas’ headquarters named in his honor.
