Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade, who has been sidelined for the past six games due to a left ankle sprain, is now listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards, according to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com.
Wade attended today’s shootaround, which is a positive sign for his potential return. Fedor further reported that Wade had been eager to play on Sunday against Boston, but ultimately, he wasn’t cleared to do so.
In a bid to prove his readiness, Wade participated in a 3-on-3 workout on Monday, hoping to show the Cavaliers’ training staff that he is fit to return to action.
Wade’s value to the team is significant, as his +12.9 net rating ranks second among all Cavs players, underscoring his effectiveness on the court when healthy.
