The Indiana Pacers welcomed a key addition to their backcourt rotation as Andrew Nembhard made his return to the lineup. Cleared to play after recovering from a knee injury that had sidelined him since November 6, Nembhard provided a boost in their game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 23-year-old combo guard has been a reliable presence for the Pacers, averaging 7.3 points, 4.7 assists, and solid playmaking across 10 games this season.

His ability to handle the ball, facilitate the offense, and contribute defensively makes him a key piece for Indiana. Before his injury, however, Nembhard struggled to find his rhythm on the offensive end, shooting just 38.5% from the field and a modest 23.1% from beyond the arc.

Despite those shooting woes, the Pacers are optimistic that his time off has allowed him to recover and reset. With his return, Indiana gains additional depth in the guard rotation alongside Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin, which could help the team maintain its fast-paced style and offensive versatility.

Nembhard’s comeback also comes at a critical time for the Pacers, who want to solidify their standing in the Eastern Conference. His contributions on both ends of the floor could be instrumental in their push for consistent success as the season progresses.
