Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard is ready to handle the ball more as a playmaker this upcoming season without Tyrese Haliburton (tore right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder).

(via Hello and Welcome):

“I think every time I’m getting in the gym, I’m always trying to look at it holistically and work on my total game. So, I’ve always been kinda preparing for this moment and I’ve always grown up playing the one. So I’m getting back to playing the one this year, and I think that’s the biggest adjustment is just a different lens on the floor. You’re running to the corner: you’re looking at the court differently. There’s a lot of different things that come with it. So, excited about the opportunity to grow my game and create.”
