The New Orleans Pelicans are dealing with a string of injuries heading into Friday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
According to the NBA’s latest injury report, four players – Jamal Cain (right ankle sprain), Jordan Hawkins (low back soreness), Brandon Ingram (right calf soreness), and Trey Murphy (left knee contusion) – are listed as questionable for the matchup.
Among this group, only Hawkins was able to play in Wednesday’s lopsided home loss to the Toronto Raptors.
In addition to these question marks, the Pelicans are still without Jose Alvarado, Herbert Jones, and Zion Williamson, who remain sidelined with their own injuries.
These absences have left New Orleans shorthanded in recent games, putting additional pressure on the remaining roster to step up as the team navigates through this challenging stretch of the season.
