Despite the Philadelphia 76ers’ struggles with a 3-13 record, which places them with the second-worst mark in the NBA, rookie Jared McCain has emerged as a strong contender for Rookie of the Year honors.
According to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, McCain, selected with the 16th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, should be considered the frontrunner for the award.
Pompey presents a compelling case for McCain’s standout performances, which have helped to shine a light on the 76ers’ season, despite their overall disappointing record.
