James Harden didn’t dwell on the past after the Los Angeles Clippers secured a win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Instead, his focus remained on the growth and camaraderie of the Clippers as they continued to solidify their identity and enjoy playing together as a team.

“We’re starting to come into our own and really grasping our identity,” Harden explained. “We’re coming around, and we’re understanding who we are. Understanding that in order for us to have a chance at anything, we know we have to do it every single night. And that’s the most exciting part.”

Harden went on to emphasize the unique bond within the team.

“One thing about this team, we’re all happy for each other. Literally, it can be anybody’s night, on any given night. Nobody’s going to be upset; everybody’s going to be happy for each other. And things aren’t always going to be perfect to win games. But even when we lose, we’re still happy for each other. Good things will happen most of the time.”

The Clippers’ victory highlighted a team that is beginning to find its rhythm despite injuries and adjustments.

The team’s coach Tyronn Lue praised the stability the team has experienced recently, attributing much of their progress to having a more predictable lineup after years of navigating uncertainty surrounding stars Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.

Lue pointed out how this consistency has benefited the team but also acknowledged how crucial Leonard’s return will be.

“We’ve been able to lock into having one team,” Lue said. “We know who’s going to play every single night. So it’s been helpful. But, you know, we definitely need him back, for sure.”

As Leonard continues to recover from his latest knee injury, Lue emphasized the positive impact his presence will have when he’s ready to rejoin the lineup.
