After missing 12 games due to an ankle injury, San Antonio Spurs reserve guard Tre Jones made his return to the court in Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks, as reported by Jeff Macdonald of The San Antonio Express-News.

The 6’1″ guard, who played his college ball at Duke, struggled with his shooting in the game, finishing with just three points on 1-of-5 from the field. However, he contributed in other areas, dishing out four assists and grabbing three rebounds, helping his team in the loss.

While his shooting performance was off, Jones’ presence on the floor was notable as he worked to get back to full strength after a lengthy absence. The game marked an important step in his recovery and reintegration into the Spurs’ rotation.
