Lavrio G.S. made a surprising move and acquired Marko Keselj, looking to strengthen their roster and have more chances in avoiding relegation. Marko Keselj, 27 years-old from Serbia, is familiar with the Greek League as he was part of Olympiacos for 2 years, while his top moment in Piraeus was the Euroleague title in 2012.

Other than that, the Serbian small forward has played for Red Star, Valencia, Girona, Le Mans and Mega Vizura from where he moved to Lavrio. He was also part of the Serbian National team for 3 years (2007-10), while this summer he participated in NBA Summer League with the Trail Blazers.

It is clearly a wise move for the newcomers that got an experienced player for a crucial spot in the court, who also has recent experiences in the Greek Basket League. All that is left to be seen is if Keselj will fit the roster and will be able to help Lavrio remain in the League.
