DeMar DeRozan powered the Sacramento Kings to a 127-118 overtime victory over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night. DeRozan scored 34 points, including the first eight in overtime, to help Sacramento snap Phoenix’s seven-game winning streak.

With Kevin Durant sidelined due to injury, the Suns struggled without their star player. Despite this, Phoenix led most of the game, but the Kings rallied in the final moments of regulation.

Keegan Murray tipped in his missed shot with 3.9 seconds left, giving Sacramento a one-point lead. However, Murray committed a foul on the ensuing Suns’ inbounds play, allowing Devin Booker to make a free throw to tie the game. Booker then missed a potential game-winner from the corner.

DeRozan’s strong performance in overtime sealed the win for Sacramento. He contributed 16 of the Kings’ 18 points in the final period.

Domantas Sabonis, who finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds, recorded his ninth consecutive double-double before fouling out.

De’Aaron Fox also had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Keegan Murray added a solid 14 points and 13 rebounds for Sacramento.

Phoenix, now 8-2 on the season, was led by Bradley Beal, who scored 28 points. Booker had 23 points and 12 assists, while Tyus Jones added 22 points. Despite their efforts, the Suns couldn’t maintain their lead in overtime.

Sacramento’s victory was powered by a well-rounded team effort, with every starter scoring in double figures. Kevin Huerter also had 17 points before fouling out in overtime.

The Kings shot 49.0% from the field, including 29.7% from three-point range, while Phoenix struggled with their perimeter shooting, hitting only 31.6% of their three-pointers.
