Darko Rajakovic: Every time Jamal Shead steps on the floor, he tries to win

Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic has enjoyed coaching rookie guard Jamal Shead so far during training camp/preseason.

“The first thing with Jamal that stands out is he’s a winner. Every time he steps on the floor, he tries to win. Obviously he’s a really, really good on-ball defender. He’s doing a good job of pressuring the ball, but he’s also very coachable. Coming from such a program like Houston and Coach Kelvin Sampson, talks a volume. It really prepared him for this moment. So, we have a great communication. I’m really able to coach him and coach him on the fly. He’s getting better every day, every week.”
