Here’s Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young on Zaccharie Risacher’s productive NBA preseason debut during Tuesday’s 131-130 home win vs. the Indiana Pacers (18 points/3 rebounds/2 assists/7-9 FG/3-4 3-PT/1-2 FT/+15 +/-).

“I hate that this wasn’t the first game of the season where it counts for real. That was a hell of a performance, hell of a game, hell of a start. So for me, I want him to feel like how he felt tonight: there’s no pressure on him, he can go out there and be himself. When he’s himself, he plays like he did tonight and can shoot the ball really well, has a really good feel for the game, can make the right reads. Obviously he’s going to make some turnovers and make some mistakes here and there, but he’s going to have a hell of a career, and tonight was just the beginning.”
