Nine-year NBA veteran Tony Snell has officially joined the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the G League affiliate of the Miami Heat. NBA insider Michael Scotto reported the news on X, confirming the 32-year-old swingman’s next step in his basketball career.

Snell has averaged 6.1 points per game and shot 39.4% from beyond the arc during his NBA career.

His most recent stint was with the Maine Celtics, where he posted 4.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in 14.9 minutes per game during the 2023-24 season.

By joining the Skyforce, Snell hopes to make an impact in the G League while keeping his chances open for a return to the NBA.

Snell’s ability to stretch the floor with his shooting and his defensive versatility made him a valuable role player in the NBA. His nine seasons in the league saw him suit up for multiple teams, including the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and Atlanta Hawks.
