The Philadelphia 76ers have signed free agent guard Lester Quinones to a two-way NBA contract.

NBA insider Shams Charania reported the deal, which gives Quinones a chance to compete for a roster spot.

Quinones spent the last two seasons with the Golden State Warriors, appearing in 41 games. He averaged 4.2 points in 10.1 minutes per game during his time with Golden State.

Quinones entered the league as an undrafted free agent in the 2022 NBA Draft. After going undrafted, he signed a two-way contract with the Warriors in July 2022.

Quinones made his NBA Summer League debut with Golden State, but was waived before the regular season.

He then joined the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s G League affiliate, for further development.

In February 2023, Quinones delivered a standout performance in the G League, scoring 42 points in a game against the Salt Lake City Stars.

His strong play earned him a 10-day contract with Golden State in March 2023, though he didn’t see the court during that time.

After returning to Santa Cruz, Quinones was re-signed by Golden State to a two-way deal later that month.

He made his official NBA debut on March 31, 2023, in a game against the San Antonio Spurs, where he played one minute and grabbed his first rebound.

In April 2023, Quinones was named the NBA G League Most Improved Player, highlighting his progress throughout the season.

Golden State rewarded Quinones with another two-way contract in July 2023, which led to increased opportunities with the team.

He played significant minutes in March 2024, leading the Warriors in scoring during a game against the Boston Celtics.

Despite showing potential, Golden State chose not to offer Quinones a renewed contract at the end of the 2023-24 season.

As a result, he became a free agent and now joins the 76ers for the 2024–25 season.

Last season, Quinones averaged 4.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1 assist per game for the Warriors.
